Marketing Manager

About the Role

As the Marketing Manager at Pugpig you’ll be working hands on in driving customer acquisition growth and customer communications through digital marketing, events and multichannel communications to our audience of leading media professionals all while exemplifying the Pugpig brand values.  You’ll be working collaboratively with a customer revenue team of sales and customer success, product development and engineering teams. You will be the champion for company communications and audience data while being hands-on in creating marketing materials (copywriting, working with design) and managing the marketing budget.  

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive customer acquisition growth through improvements to the audience funnel of MQLs to SQLs to Customers 
  • Maintain a Hubspot CRM database of prospects, leads, customers and companies in collaboration with the sales team
  • Create marketing materials (copywriting, creative assets) across digital media, print media, and event channels as necessary to deliver campaigns
  • Event management of the Pugpig brand at internal and external industry events (PPA, FIPP, etc.)
  • Work collaboratively with partner organisations to create content, webinars and keep the Pugpig brand front of mind for our potential customers 
  • Lead by example in communicating clearly internally on our goals, progress to date and future plans
  • Manage a marketing budget with focus on optimising volume and ROI for the UK and US marketplaces
  • Define (and continuously refine) marketing best practices and process across our teams in London and New York 

About you:

  • You have experience as a Marketing Manager, ideally within a SaaS company or media business
  • You have previous experience in creating, delivering and analyzing marketing communications
  • You love speaking to customers and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You’re happy working in a busy, buzzy environment and are adept at juggling multiple priorities at a time
  • You’re tech savvy and have a genuine interest in software and products
