Office and Operations Manager

We are looking for a smart, enthusiastic operations manager who can juggle managing the day to day needs of two offices, ensuring that Pugpig is a great place to work, that our business operations run smoothly and that our commercial/marketing team have the support they need. The ideal candidate will be intelligent, affable, organised, problem-solving, enterprising, self-starting, hard working and with an eye for detail.

Office location and hours

  • 17-21 Emerald Street, London WC1N 3QN
  • 08:00 – 17:00 Monday – Thursday
  • 08:00 – 15:00 Friday
  • On call for emergencies (although they very rarely happen)

Making sure that Pugpig is a great place to work:

  • Ensuring our offices are a delightful and comfortable environment for our team and clients
  • Onboarding new joiners and offboarding leavers
  • Making sure everyone has the tools they need to do their job effectively

Operations/Finance responsibilities include:

  • Triage of incoming finance queries and monthly invoicing
  • Purchasing (services, technology, supplies)
  • Travel logistics
  • Supplier management
  • Booking training courses for the team and managing the budget
  • Maintaining the asset register
  • Escalation point for all office emergencies (disaster recovery)

Commercial/marketing team support:

  • Assisting with internal and external events
  • Filing contracts and updating license records
  • Possible design work if that’s of interest (Photoshop, Illustrator)

Corporate Social Responsibility

  • Helping to organise volunteering
  • Identifying and onboarding charity clients

About you:

  • You have experience as an office/operations manager, ideally within a SaaS company or media business and have the following:
  • Attention to detail
  • Adept at general problem solving
  • Extensive use of spreadsheets
  • Understanding of finance
  • Understanding of technology
  • Ability to deal with people of all types
  • Highly organised
  • Flexible
