Kaldor Privacy Policy

This websites located at https://kaldorgroup.com and https://pugpig.com (the “Sites”) and the hosted Pugpig services (the “Pugpig Service”) are provided by Kaldor Limited, a company registered in England & Wales having the registered number 07559839 and its registered address at 37 Warren Street, London W1T 6AD. Our business address is 17-21 Emerald Street, Holborn, WC1N 3QN and you can contact us there or via  info@kaldorgroup.com.

You may choose to email us or to submit personal information via the Sites (for example, in order to download software under a Software Evaluation Licence) or in the course of using the Pugpig Service. If you use the Pugpig Service to publish apps, you may choose to require your end users to submit personal information via your apps. This privacy policy explains how we will treat personal information.

What we collect

We collect information that you supply to us in the form of an email or in completing forms to download software or use the service for evaluative purposes. This may include your name, email address, telephone number, postal address, the name of your company or business and your role, and any other information you choose to give us.

If you use the Pugpig Service to publish apps, you may choose to require your end users to submit personal information via your apps. Unless we expressly agree otherwise when setting up your app, that personal information will be collected and processed entirely outside the Pugpig Service. In the event that you expressly require us to process end user personal data as part of the Pugpig Service, it is your responsibility to ensure that you have the all required permissions and consents from your end users to use their personal data in the ways in which you ask us to.

What we do with it

When you email us or complete a form, we will retain your personal information in our databases. We will use it to respond to any requests you have made, and we may also use it for marketing purposes, including contacting you by email or post to keep you informed about news relating to Pugpig or to Kaldor more generally. If you require your end users to submit personal information in the course of using your app published using the Pugpig Service and you have expressly required us to process that data as part of the Pugpig Service, we will only process their data on your behalf and in accordance with your instructions.

What we do not do with it

We will only pass on your personal information to third parties if we are required to do so by law, in connection with a corporate transaction relating to our business or assets or shares, or as explained in the section headed “Third parties” below. Otherwise, we will not pass on your personal information to third parties unless you specifically consent to us doing so. Even if you have expressly required us to process personal data belonging to end users of your app published using the Pugpig Service, we will not store that data on our servers (or those of our third party service providers).

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your personal information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical and electronic procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. However, you acknowledge that the transmission of information over the internet is inherently insecure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.

Third parties

Our databases may be hosted by third parties, for example on Kaldor’s Google Drive or by third party providers such as Hubspot or Zendesk.

Your personal information will only be added to such databases (a) which are only accessible by authorised employees or contractors of Kaldor and (b) in respect of which the third parties who run them have agreed to comply with applicable data protection legislation.

In addition, the Pugpig Service may be hosted on our behalf by third party service providers, including those listed here.

International data transfer

Some of the third parties who host our databases and the Pugpig Service (as explained above) process personal information on servers in many countries around the world so your personal information and that of your users may be processed on a server located outside the European Economic Area (EEA). You expressly agree to the transfer of personal information outside the EEA for these purposes. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have obtained consent from your end users to transfer their personal data outside the EEA for these purposes too (to the extent that you are going to ask us to process their personal data for you).
