PPA Awards 2021

We’d like to say a huge congratulations to all of our Pugpig customers who have been shortlisted for the 2021 PPA Awards.

The Big Issue has been shortlisted for numerous awards this year including PPA Best Response to COVID-19 Award and PPA Innovation of the Year. Back in March 2020 we partnered with the Big Issue to help them face the mounting challenge of the coronavirus pandemic. Here you can read about how we got their Pugpig Publish app up and running to help The Big Issue continue to support their vendors in such challenging times.

It’s also been a mammoth year of nominations for the New Scientist, who have been shortlisted in eight categories including PPA Subscriptions Strategy of the Year and PPA Team of the Year. One of their other PPA nominations was in the PPA Podcast of the Year category. Keep your eyes peeled as we’re looking forward to announcing new changes in the New Scientist app soon.

We’d like to congratulate one of our longest standing customers Dennis Publishing on their nomination in one of PPA’s brand new categories – PPA Children’s Magazine of the Year – for The Week Junior.

Pugpig customers are dominating in the shortlist for both the PPA Media Brand of the Year and PPA Front Cover of the Year categories. Within PPA Front Cover of the Year, British Vogue is shortlisted for their now iconic cover featuring an array of frontline workers, and Wired is featured for their cover which focusses on change-makers and the Black Lives Matter movement. British Vogue and Wired are just two publications from the entire Condé Nast Portfolio who use our Pugpig platform. To read more about Condé Nast and our partnership, click here. Other nominations in this category include our customers’ publications; Elle, The Week Junior, Saga Magazine, Good Housekeeping, Men’s Health and The Big Issue. In the PPA Media Brand of the Year category we’d like to congratulate The Big Issue, London Review of Books, Dennis Publishing, New Scientist, Women’s Health and Cosmopolitan (Hearst UK), for their shortlist. We’re so proud of all of our customers!

Congratulations again to all of our Pugpig customers and all other shortlisted teams on their nominations for the PPA Awards . We’re all looking forward to the virtual awards ceremony on 23rd June- see you there!
