In October 2021 Reach PLC, currently one of the UK and Ireland’s largest commercial and regional news publishers, launched four apps on the Pugpig Publish platform. Reach PLC is one of the biggest names in regional and national news, and now they have updated the Daily Star and Daily Express newspaper apps onto our platform.

Reach PLC is one of the biggest names in regional and national news, and now they have updated the Daily Star and Daily Express newspaper apps onto our platform. These apps combine a newspaper reading experience with classic HTML articles, while daily interactive puzzles and website content drive user engagement amongst the papers loyal readers. The popular OK & New Magazines also use a combination of magazine and HTML articles using our enhanced PDF feature to publish their glossy editions weekly.

By rethinking the way readers engage with newspapers and magazines, Pugpig has delivered an innovative product that not only improves the user experience of these apps, but also looks fantastic. Reach PLC’s newspaper and magazine apps have seen strong organic growth in their user base since moving onto our product as users enjoy features such as enhanced PDF, interactive puzzles, exclusive web content, offline reading and much more.
